Catechism Lesson 20: The Sacrament of Baptism
Father discusses chapter 20 of Father Cogan's book, "A Brief Catechism for Adults". This chapter reviews the sacrament of baptism, what it is, its nature and purpose. Father also comments on some matters pertaining to Father Leonard Feeney, S.J. and his controversy over baptism of blood and desire. Specific texts from the Catechism of the Council of Trent are examined to demonstrate the Church's correct teaching regarding these matters as opposed to what was claimed by Father Feeney and is still promoted by modern would-be traditional Catholics.
