Questions: Negative talk - when forbidden, when required?

On this episode of What Catholics Believe, Tom and Fr. Jenkins return to the email inbox and they discuss:  • How to approach immodesty in the Pro-Life movement.  • The primary purpose of marriage as explained in the Catechism of the Council of Trent.  • What is the difference between gossiping and sharing grievances with a trustworthy confidant?

Is Sedevacantism Really Untenable?

On this episode of What Catholics Believe, Tom and Fr. Jenkins return to the email inbox and discuss:  • Why is no one commenting on or seems to be concerned that Abp. Viganò is in hiding for fear of his life.  • The illogic of Peter Kwasniewski’s article, “Why the troubles of this pontificate do not point to sedevacantism”  • Michael Matt’s wrong statement, ‘the problem isn’t modernism but apostasy!’  • How is Pius X’s reform of the Breviary (Divino afflatu) any different from the reforms of the Novus Ordo?

Is Viganò’s life in danger?

This episode of What Catholics Believe opens with a discussion between Tom and Fr. Jenkins about Abp. Viganò: — Why is the story fading? — Why isn’t anyone reporting that Viganò is in hiding because he fears for his life? — Where is the media in all of this?  The show then proceeds to Fr. Jenkins answering questions from the email inbox: — What is the future of the Roman Catholic Church?  — What are the differences between the Novus Ordo Missae and the Traditional Latin Mass? — Why is communion given under only one species in the Traditional Latin Mass when the Novus Ordo, Orthodox, Protestants, et al. give both?

Remembering Father O'Connor

A return to email questions.  Tom asks Fr. Jenkins the following: What is Opus Dei besides the brain trust of the Novus Ordo? (Fr. Jenkins asks listeners to send more information on the secretive group.) Who was Fr. John O’Connor and how is what he did any different from what the SSPX is doing today?  What can the laity do to help exorcize Francis and the Novus Ordo church?  Does the SSPV say the 1958 Mass or the pre-1955 Mass and why?

Stay tuned after the credits for a brief clip of Fr. John O’Connor, O. P. from an old episode of What Catholics Believe. For those interested on the programs he appeared a playlist has been created on the youtube channel. It can also be found by typing in this address: http://tiny.cc/FrOConnor

Clergy Crisis: Modernist PLAN to destroy Catholic priesthood • part 2

The second part of a two part episode returns to the topic of the information released by Abp. Viganò. Fr. Jenkins explains why the conservative media is puzzled by the reaction of the hierarchy to the crimes. Fr. Jenkins also importantly changes his position on the matter, as he no longer sees the abuse as collateral damage — instead the abuse is the another step in the ultimate result of the destruction of the priesthood. Once again, it is reiterated that this isn’t the Catholic Church but is modernism — Vatican II gave birth to this crisis.  Fr. Jenkins reads excerpts from a Novus Order presider’s letter which states and explains: the Novus Ordo church attempts to seduce you and get you to assume their corrupt mentality. Failing that the Novus Ordo church then plays the victim card in order to get you to assume their corrupt mentality. The modernists want people to believe that the Catholic Church has failed them. As Voltaire once wrote, “annihilate the wretch”, the wretch being the Catholic Church. Fr. Jenkins explains Francis’ role in all of this as well as the modernist hierarchy’s.
