Fr. Jenkins defines what a Catholic wage or just wage is and why business should pay their workers a living wage. The discussion then turns to the ramifications in a society which pays non-Catholic wages and how this leads it to liberalism as well as socialism. Many other points are brought up in the conversation including the minimum wage. Lastly, Tom asks Fr. Jenkins about the importance of three saints who have feast days this week: St. Anne, St. Mary Magdalene, and St. James (the Greater).
Father Jenkins discusses chapter 34 of Fr. Cogans' book, "A Brief Catechism for Adults". This chapter covers the Second Commandment and is the second chapter in a sequence covering the Commandments. This program was recorded 11 July 2018.

Fr. Jenkins discusses Fr. Felix Sarda y Salvany’s book, ‘Liberalism Is a Sin’ and how it is applicable to the world of today. Includes a short background on the times in which Fr. Sarda y Salvany wrote his work. Fr. Jenkins says of this book, “every Catholic should read this book,” as it explains what is, “happening in the world and the Catholic church today.”
