The Murder of John Paul I

Father discusses the possibility that John Paul I was murdered, the circumstances surrounding his death and its connection with the Vatican Bank scandal at the time involving mafia banker Roberto Calvi, who himself turned up dead in London in 1982. Other subjects include marrying ones cousin and ploygamy in the Old Testament and the Novus Ordo "Eucharistic Prayers".

The Attributes of God and the Fall of Lucifer

A viewer asks Father how, if Lucifers soul was perfect, did he succumb to pride and fall, and how did he convince a third of the angels to follow him.

Father responds with a lengthy discussion of the nature of God, the angles and man. He explains how the nature of Lucifer and the angels is such that they are capable of failing in their will even though they knew everything they needed to know to see the consequences of their decision. This is also why they cannot repent of their choice, unlike us and our flawed understanding. Being composite creatures (composed of act and potency) they are capable of change and thus the choice they made, versus God who is pure act and cannot change. Tom gives an interesting insight into an aspect of American sign language and how the ideas of self-respect and self-esteem are expressed with the hands.

Other topics include a clarification, thanks to a viewer, on Putin, some follow-up from the Final Arrangements show, and the scandals occuring at a Novus Ordo school in Britain. If you would like to study further the philisophical points mentioned by Father Jenkins in this show, a good place to start would be Five Proofs of the Existence of God by Dr. Edward Feser, which can be purchased here.

Catholics and Final Arrangements

Tom and Father Jenkins begin with a question about what Catholics should consider when planning for their passing, wills, power of attorney, providing for dependents, etc. Other topics include more on the Thuc bishops and necessity, can we call protestants Christians and comments Vladimir Putin has made about Christianity being like communism because they both share (masonic) values like "freedom, brotherhood, equality, justice". It's enough to make you want to join a Lodge.

The Finding of the Child Jesus

Father Jenkins responds to a viewers question about a difficult passage in the Gospel, Our Lady and St. Jospeph finding the 12 year old Jesus in the Temple in Jersusalem. How could Our Lord allow Mary and Joseph to leave, not realizing Jesus was not with them? Would this not have caused them great anguish? Other topics include how JPII could truthfully be called "Mary's Pope" given all the objectively evil things he did, the upcoming Pro-Life marches in Washington D.C. and Cincinnati, and whether Oprah should run for president!

The SSPX and Power Outages

Father Jenkins and Tom Naegele take a look at the so-called "Nativity Scenes" the Novus Ordo is displaying in St. Peter's Square and in Fatima. The perverse mentality behind these displays should be enough to alert anyone to the true nature of the Vatican II church. Another topic covered is the SSPX, problems attending their chapels and whether one should instead stick with an indult parish and work to bring it fully to tradition. Father also recounts an interesting conversation he had at the Atlanta airport during its recent power outage with a young woman who described herself as a "thinking atheist".
